You Can Always Talk to Me......If You Wanna'
I miss you, Maggie May. Know your Pepe's gal now, but do you still have room in your heart for an ol' battle scarred Texan? LOL!
I'm sorry about your friend. It's good that he could be flown to the hospital quicker. You're shaken because you care about these folks and your own life has been touched by cancer, so that makes perfect sense to me.
The good news is that your CT scan is already a done deal:) You're clear and healthy until your next check-up, doctor's orders:)
Have the best of times at your Turkey Throwdown to celebrate that occasion along with your clear scans news.
Goodnight - sleep tight - and don't let the bedbugs bite:)
Love/Craig0 -

Oh Maggie...I'm sorry you're hurting....I wish the best for your friend and with lots of comfort! And for you some peace and rest.
Huggin you, gail
This stupid disease has a way of covering us all with a big black cloud. For those of us who have a child, a parent, a loved one of any relation, or a close friend, it is sometimes very hard to find your way through that cloud. We can almost imagine what it must be like for the person with cancer, but not quite. Ours is a helpless feeling of confusion and pain for the person we love so much. We try to be supportive while not breaking down in tears so our loved one will gain strength from us, a strength we probably don't have, but we put up a good front anyway. Inside we are breaking with no way to stop or get off this runaway train. So sometimes we just have to try and concentrate on other things, no matter how hard it is. That way we can build up that strength again to share it.
Please know that your friend is in capable hands and concentrate on your wonderful Thanksgiving.
I hope some of this makes sense and I'm sending you a big Arizona hug.
Your Friend,

So sorry to hear about your friend, I know that your mind must be in quite the tizzy.
Hmmm, just to lighten the load a bit, since we actually have the OU in "your" here, do you have to double it in Canadian to youour? (hope that brought a smile to youour face, even if it was an itty bitty one.)
Now, I just learned the other day about your Thanksgiving, but seem to have largely forgotten it, it is a celebration of??
And I'm sure your CT scan will be just fine, no reason for it not to be.
I imagine you in the quiet of your home, a mug of cocoa (at this time of night)in your hand, standing at a window staring out into the darkness thinking of your friend and of cancer in general and it's ability to intrude unbidden into our lives. Cyberly at that moment, I'm there putting a hand on your shoulder and standing silently beside you, giving you a quick hug of reassurance, and just being there when you need a friend. I think each of us are taking turns being there next to you, hope you don't mind the company, there's quite a few of us.
Youours in friendship,

Sorry for your hurt. I recall someone quoting Forrest gump the other the other day. In the movie he was given credit for the saying s*** happens. I always thought that should have been 'life happens'and it touches us ,sometimes with sadness ,sometimes with happiness. The only effect we can have is on the future, presnt and past we can only accept.
Have a wonderful thanksgiving and a clear scan.((((((((ron)))))))).0 -
