There are a few pretty good articles on many of the differences that people ask about between, MRI, CT and PET scans this month in CURE Magazine.

Also an article on vitamin supplements and antioxidants....

Some antioxidants might actually neutralize the cancer killing molecules.

Anyways, some pretty good reading material.

    Just got my copy of Cure and look forward to reading the articles.

    It's funny how others have written about vitanmins, suppliments and antioxidants neutralizing cancer molecules but are labled as unsubstantiated quacks(Although many are doctors and reasearchers who have done studies and trials). But now that the "experts" have said it it is ground breaking news. What a shame that the "experts" are not open to other lesser know reasearchers discoveries.

    I am just glad that now they are seeing that there are other things that work. Maybe someday they do-away with radiation

    LOL, it always reminds me of a sister in law of past.

    She announced to her mother one day that she was eating healthy and that we and her mother should do it as well.

    It was something that she just heard and was "The" cutting edge healthy diet....

    It was dried beans, grains and fresh fruit...LOL.

    Her mother told her, "Hell, that's what I grew up on because it was all that we could afford"....

    LOL....

    Now you know the rest of the story, ops I spilled the beans

    I grew up on Red Beans 3 times a day in Honduras, Fried Beans for breakfast, Beans and Rice for Lunch, and Rice and Beans for supper. Makes you healthy and full of gas to keep going all day long. Fart, fart, fart

    I'm not HPV, but for those that are
    page 31, top left, paragraph 3, "PET can help project survival odds,....... 2008 study, found 94% of patients who completed treatment with no visible sign of cancer-NED on the PET scan-- hadn't relapsed one year later. Interesting paragraph?

    That is amazing that the survival rate is so good for one particular type of cancer. It just goes to show that not all Cancers are the same.

    Cancer...versus....Cancer
    My cancer can beat your cancer's azz.....LOL.

    I'm still kind of stuck on the cancer is cancer....both can do you great bodily harm.

    Though it is nice to see that there are more and more studies being done.

    And that HPV is finally being recognized as a new clear and present threat to deriving head & neck cancer, especially in a much younger generation of people.

    Even was watching my local news channel last night and they had a segment on HPV and it's relationship to H&N Cancer...also promoting the use of Gadasil.

    Which brings me to....I can't believe the comments by Michelle Bachmann and her comments referring that Gardasil leads to retardation.....

    Who's the dumb lady?
    Is what my 17 y/o daughter asked me while listening to Michelle Bachmanh during the last debate. Both my kids have been vaccinated including her 22 y/o brother. My only response was, "She's running for president, God help us" Who's the retarded one now Michelle?
