I hope this does not pulled like the last time i praised my TCM oncologist doctor.

I saw him tonight after 3 weeks.

Had to wait for 30 minutes and chatted to a lovelly lady about my age. she was dx stage 4 nasty unknown cancer in 2004 and has been going to henry for 7 years now. still lots of tumours but all dormant, her story gave me hope.

Saw henry, told him about missing a few days of herbs becuase of hospital in png and malaria. i said malaria is unlikely to kill me but the crc will try. i asked him to rampup the anticancer herbs.

i asked him about psk corillius mushroom. his answer was interesting. i think i explained this before, but its worth mentioning again just in case. firstly china is getting rich, so trendy herbs ( even if effective ) are getting expensive. he said why use herbs that cost $10,000 for 600grams when the other herb that costs $20 is just as effective.

He also stressed he values human clinical trials out of china for tcm, and not the cell based one off tests in test tubes.

i told him i am not shopping around on the net for one off herbs or supplements but sticking to his prescriptions, which he tweaks every few weeks.

consult and 2 weeks herbs $92. he is not greedy, he is a saint in my honest opinion.

he is doing a lecture tour teaching tcm in brisbane, sydney and melbourne next month. getting the best care we can, takes time, effort and faith.

i also met the guy after my appointment, stage 4 colorectal dx 2008 going ok as well.

i am trying to dodge the satge 4 bullet, here is hoping. god damm those positive lymph nodes.

just a note to myself to stay positive and appreciate the great care i have all around me.

good tcm does not have to be expensive, if your on a budget its an option i am glad i investigated.

when you are onto a good thing stick to it. my challenge is to make my tea each and everyday and not miss any, especially now i am on a stronger anti cancer mix. the only risk is if my digestive system can take it, as the tcm has side effects as well. thats why he wants to see me each two for the time being.

just my real life tcm experiences. i hope this helps someone else.

hugs,
pete

    Pete,
Did you take an anti-malarial before you went to PNG? (for the American audience, PNG is Papua New Guinea)

    no i wish i did
some advised yes, some advised no.
i had heard doxy the antimalarial did not protect against all the strains in the area i was going and it had some nasty side effects. so i tried to coverup, use strong mosquitoe spray. these attempts failed.

seeing another infectios diseases specialist tomorrow.
