in Breast Cancer #1
my name is ivygail remulla i just went to the doctors appointment because by breast were becoming funny like breast pain and changes in the nipple area... they didnt find anything but a nodule on the left breast growing... now there keeping an eye out so it doesnt turn into cancer... the changes also happens in both breast areas so ya, its times two... which is not good.... I went to this site and found out that 2 of the symptoms of breast cancer is breast pain and changes in the breast area and i have it... i think or you could consider it the highlight... great isnt it? :P now I have to go to a breast specialist and do a mammogram to do the first check up... i hope i dont end up loosing both... if ya know what i mean..:(. (the changes was the inverted just to let you know).. so i hope all goes well in life in general... please pray for me yall.. :)... thank you -ivygail

    Hi Ivygail,
    Reading your post brought back memories for me. I too had breast pain in my left breast and the nipple started to invert. I was diagnosed with IDC (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma)the most common form of breast cancer. Welcome to the group but I am also sorry you had to find us. A breast specialist will definitely give you guidance. I only had cancer in my left breast but I opted for a double mastectomy, I didn't want to go through treatments again if I didn't have too. We are all different and I pray that your results come back good for you.

    I had IDC also and yes same as butterflyivr mine was the left breast i also had the inverted nipple for a long time even before it turned to cancer do please get thoroughly checked out and stay on the board and ask questions because i learned a lot on here about the kind i had more so than what the dr.'s told me. I pray everything will be fine for you please keep us posted.MOLLYZ

    Hope it is something other than cancer. I felt a feeling of pressure or tightness in the breast just before my mamogram. Let us know what the breast speacialist says.
