My hair started coming out on day 21. It came out in patches all over my scalp, but I didn't lose all of my hair--I'd say perhaps 1/3 to 1/2.
Thanks......hmmmmm...wonder how iwill look with spiky hair? Every day is an experience"..0 -

'Whair' did it go?????
Lost more than I thought I would. Had I not had a thick headfull to begin with, I would have ended up bald. Like most, started losing mine the third week. Came out significantly for about two weeks til I had about 1/2 of what I started out with. Stopped coming out until another couple of weeks after the final week of treatment(chemo.) Then I lost another quarter.
It started growing back quickly. Got a close-cropped pixie to get all of the remaining chemo hair off and now it's about 4" long, super thick again and curly (wavy before.) Wash and go. Love it.
As you can see, hair loss varies greatly. Keep us updated on what happens with you!!

Lost about 1/2 of my short grey straight hair that came back in darker and curly. I was prepared to shave it off as it was close to Halloween and I was going to costume as Avitar and paint a blue arrow on my head. As we all know if you don't laugh you will cry.0 -

I didn't lose my hair (on my head). It just started thinning about the 3rd week of chemo. I've been using nioxin shampoo and conditioner and my hair seems to be getting thicker, but maybe it would have gotten thicker anyway. I'm 3 months post treatment.0 -

I asked my stylist to cut my hair so short that you wouldn't be able to tell what was old and what was new. It's grown out a lot now and is really thick already. He did a great job with the goal being to not have any hair the same length. I have never gotten so many compliments from absolute strangers for my hair cut as it has grown out. It was great not to have to worry about my hair. It was depressing when it started thinning and it was long and sticking to my fingers and face. Getting a short hair cut was empowering. Go for it, is what I say. This picture was taken the first day of the cut.0 -

Love the hair cut... Soon as I find a shop I am having mine cut short just for ease of maintenance. Just losing a tiny amount for now....0 -
