Known as a 'light weight' when it comes to drinking ---RozHopkins said:Alcohol
Yes, one evening I had two large glasses of wine and was actually sick. Cut way, way back now. Felt exactly the same as you. We dont realize how many things happen afterward, quite a lot if you actually sit down and count everything up.
a title I've worn proudly. I am sure I could of built up my tolerance to alcohol -- but I've never had the desire to be a party girl. Give me a drink -- I will nurse it for hours - - with the exception of a good white zinfandel wine, or apple-tini.
I like to be in control, so alcohol has never complimented my control issue.

Hi Clementine,
My last chemo
Hi Clementine,
My last chemo was July 17, 2011 and I haven't noticed a difference in my tolerance but have noticed the day after I am more exhausted. I does take me longer to recover. Especially since I have gone back to work.
I asked my breast surgeon what causes breast cancer and she said no one really knows. I say:How do we know it's alcohol? What about all the prepackaged foods we eat? The toxins in the air we breathe. Heck....what about the little children who get other forms of cancer. I don't think they were drinking. Anyway, I have Triple negative so as far as estrogen fed breast cancer and alcohol not being a good comb. I guess I'm safe there. LOL I only have a couple drinks when I go line dancing a couple times a week. Can't get too loopy or I would totally forget how to do the dances!and darn it all,it makes me happy.I don't smoke and try to eat healthy. I'm sure it's better that we don't drink and I didn't for 18 yrs while my kids were growing up and I still got BC.Go figure.
Sorry for the rambling
Have a great day everyone.
