It has been just been over three months since I was told about my cancer and just over two months since I found this site. I just wanted to tell of you how much I love this site and all of you. I have learned so much about my cancer and how strong we become during our fight. I have reached out so many time with just need information and have recived it or reach out for someone to help hold me up because I felt like I was just to overwhelm and felt so all alone. My teals sisters have come to and held me up and let me know it was alright and I was going to make it through this trial. I hope I can be there when you all need support and that I have learned so much from you all. Thanks for sharing you story and making me feel like a normal person because some times I just don't feel like anything I say or do is right. I was an only girl out of five children but I know can say I have sisters they are my teal sister. Love you all :):)

I feel the same way, Anne.
When I found this site, I cried like a baby. This ordeal is so overwhelming and family and friends with the best intentions cannot really know what we go through. I have found solace, hope, information, reassurance, sadness and even a few laughs on this board. I check in everyday unless I am not home. I have 5 half-siblings, 2 of which I have never met. They were never part of my life. I grew up an only child so for me to have so many sisters now is incredible. And I don't have to share my clothes with any of you.

I am grateful to all these ladies too.

    Sisters we are
I too was so glad when I found this site. Questions that I have been afraid to ask have been answered on here. All of you make me less afraid. Just to know that I am not alone and can share anything means so much.

    Love all of you.

I'm not sure I'd have been able to travel this road without all of my Teal Sisters.

    Me too
Before I found this board, I felt so alone and isolated. Now I no longer feel that way. I thank God every day I found this board. I am so glad we are all together.

    Sisters
I had one brother, and I always longed for a sister. When I was 6 I begged my mother to have one for me. But she'd had an operation, she said, and couldn't. I've found that non-blood sisters are just as good, especially now. We all belong to the ovarian cancer family. We don't borrow each other's clothes, but we open our hearts and minds to each other. Now that's sisterhood! I, too, am so grateful for the support and information that is always here. Hugs to you, Carolyn

    non blood sisters
I some times think non-blood sisters are better because for the most we pick them :) The sister on this site we did not pick but God brought us together through this thing called cancer. I would not trade any of my teal sister for anything because you all are the best. Even if you wont lend me your clothers lol
