Just joined today. My husband had surgery 12/15/10. My suggestion to all ~ if possible, stay at the hospital with your loved one. No one knows them like we do. When my husband developed a blood clot two days post op, I was there to notice the change in his arm. At first I was told it was fluid from surgery. I persisted and they quickly checked it out. They were able to treat it before it became a problem. The surgery went well. Recovery was a lot better than we anticipated. He is young and otherwise extremely healthy so I think that really helped. I pray all of your surgeries are successful.0 -
I saw something from Bob Haze last weekrose20 said:Has anyone head anything more on Bob Haze's surgery?
Haven't seen any postings so I am taking it that his surgery schedule is still for tomorrow?
I believe I saw a post late last week that indicated that he and the wife were taking a bit of a vacation before surgery.
Best of luck and prayers are with you, Bob!

Thanks for thinking of me Rose and Terry. My MIE is tomorrow morning. I know I'm blessed that this thing was found while Stage 1, but I'm still scared about the surgery and pissed of that this is happening. I've asked my wife to post tomorrow when I'm out of surgery and in the ICU. My surgeon trained with Dr. Luketich and has done beaucoup MIE's, so I'm confident that all will go well.
