Join Us at Panera Bread and Help Us Spread the Word --- Southern California Region
====================================
Panera Bread has selected the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation (DSLRF) as its exclusive cause marketing partner in the Southern California region for the month of October as they honor breast cancer awareness month.
In addition to fundraising for the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, we have been invited to take part in a very special series of October events, hosted at select Panera locations in Southern California, called "Coffee and Conversation" to promote the Army of Women. We are looking for volunteers to help us at these events! You will have the opportunity to meet fellow volunteers, enjoy complimentary Panera food and recruit patrons to sign up for the AOW.
We will be present in the following five counties: Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernadino.
If you can't volunteer, please stop by one of our Coffee and Conversation events to say hello to our Army of Women team! We will be posting all the locations on www.armyofwomen.org/newsandevents as well as on our Facebook page, so make sure you are part of the Army of Women fan group. Find us on Facebook here.
And if you live in Southern California, don't forget to purchase your Panera pink ribbon bagel and support the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation! The bagels are available throughout the month of October, and for one special day, on October 10th, we will receive100% of all proceeds.
We would love to meet you, whether you can lend a hand or not, so come out during October and help us move breast cancer beyond a cure. Email footsoldiers@armyofwomen.org for more information about the Coffee and Conversation events. If interested in volunteering, please include in your email the following information:

You bet, this October, every Panera Bread will be featuring the "Pink Ribbon Bagel". It's made with cherry chips, dried cherries and cranberries, vanilla, honey and brown sugar. Plus, a portion of proceeds go to benefit breast cancer charities in your area. It's sweet in every way.
Check the Panera Bread website for details. You can preorder too!
I'll be there....yum yum!

Panera Bread is always a sponsor at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley, MD every year. They serve thousands and thousands of the Pink Ribbon Bagels to the participants. I always look forward to them. The race this year is on October 23rd. This will be like my 9th year at the race and 2nd as a survivor.
Where do you live in Maryland?
