Stopping by to check in
I just had my 7th surgery this morning and right now im a little loopy and not feelin to much pain as long as i dont move around...so thats all good for the moment!
You know youve had to many surgeries when youve become a professional patient...you just get to skip all the formalities cuz you already know what to do ect...lol!
Some good news about it is my doc went beyond just removing my ovaries...she explored while she was in there and checked the whole area...she told us she was so amazed that all my organs in the area looked really good and was extremely amazed what good shape they were in and i got pics of her exploration. The only bad thing she seen is i had a large area above my gallbladder of worry some scar tissue, that now needs to be looked into.
Emotionally im doin a little better day by day. Some of you may know the history of the death of my cousin/sister Stacy. Its the one year aniversary of her passing away and therefore these last couple of weeks have been really rough on me. I just locked myself into my apartment and talking to no one except venturing out only to go to her grave site and sat and had lunch with her and would cry and laugh with her...no im not crazy although people might disagree with me on that lol. but it does really help me dealing with it.
I was excited cuz one of my prayers was answered laat night! My oldest daughter that just had her baby a couple months ago that i was not allowed to have anything to do with her and her baby cuz of female family member brain washing her to hate me. Anyway she called me just out of the blues and we talked for about a half four. We even talked about her sending me picks of my first grandbaby. Its a good start, and it brings me hope that maybe we can reastablish our relationship someday!!
WOOOO HOOOO IM JUST SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS...cuz i knew she still loves me!!!
Thanks for listening
hugs to you all!

So glad
So glad to see that you are doing better. Kids usually come around. They know who was there to care for them all those years. Hope you continue to improve in mood as life is not intended to be unhappy all the time.0 -

On all fronts. Especially getting to talk to your daughter and maybe re-connecting so you can at least get pics of that new baby. Also glad to hear you're feeling better and that overall things look good. Keep smilin'!0 -
It's good to have you
It's good to have you checking in. It sounds like the surgery was a success, but then I wouldn't expect anything less from a pro like you. But it does mean we spend waaaay tooo much time with docs and nurses when you can answer their questions even before they are asked. Keep taking it easy and let others pamper you while you recover.
I'm also really happy that you have heard from your daughter...that's a very good start. I'm thinking that somehow your time crying and laughing with your cousin (I don't think you're crazy for that at all!) is somehow connected to the good conversation with your daughter. Time with your cousin and a knowing your daughter loves you sounds like some powerful medicine for the heart and soul.
Please check in more often, we care and want to know how you're doing.
Hugs,

So good to hear from you JoJo. I hope you're feeling better and I'm sooo happy about your daughter calling.
I can understand the deep sadness over your cousin but all that can be done eventually is to learn to live with it, because the pain will never go away.
God bless you and please try and pop in more often. I've always told you that I love to see your smiling face!
Hugs,
