Short Remission Part 2
Guess I am just having a bad day today and needed to vent. As always, thanks for listening.

I am so sorry
for what you are going through. I can only imagine because I am still in my first remission. This disease is not only deadly it is so cruel. Even in remission we have to constantly worry about recurrance. There is no respite from the worry and dread. I pray that your treatment will be successful. Please vent anytime you need to. There is always someone here to listen.

Dear Chris
I can understand how you feel, It's really hard dealing with the cancer, especially when a person gets recurrences. I do worry and my primary care doc told me that's understandable. I do take a sleeping pill at nite (although I don't like to take it every nite) and it does help me get a good nite's sleep. Good luck with the Gemzar and you can always vent - I know I've done it with this group.

Thank you both for your encouraging and supportive comments. The past few days have been better as I have not had much pain. I have chemo tomorrow and then I plan on going back to work on Monday. I am sure that getting out of the house will help. You and all the other women on this board are truly the best support system around. I am so glad I found this, it is even better than the support group that I attend in person.
Thanks again and hugs to you both.

had another bout with reocurrance and it seem it was a whole lot harder than the first. Tp me the chemo seemed to have it's effects longer and I was in bed for a good week before I can function. I continued to work part-time and that helped me focus and feel like I am leading a normal life. Stay strong and positive and keep you teal panties on..val0
