RO, thinks the redness and swelling are from lymphodema, so I have to be better at doing my exercises everyday...so no IBC...as I first suspected..had a nice relaxing mini vacation...and will be increasing my hours back at work this week...apparently women with large breasts have this happen often...I really want to slap them when they say it so matter of fact, but never bothered to tell me before hand...Any way I don't want to complain, not when it is ok news, and something I can deal with..thanks everyone that gave me advice, and helped ease my fears...love you ladies....Sinee

Glad it's not IBC
I personally have no experience with any "large breast" issues...that gene skipped me, LOL.
Sorry you are going to have to deal with the lymphedema issues, it sure would be nice to be warned about things in advance, but I guess it's a cross that bridge when you get there thing.

As someone with IBC I'm
As someone with IBC I'm really happy you don't have to deal with that beast. Be sure for the lyphedema you see a certified specialist. Sooner is better than later, and they can show you all kinds of things to help reduce the swelling.

So glad you got good news NO
So glad you got good news NO IBC. I too had IBC and have lymphedema, I do my exercises religiously. And it does keep the swelling down. Good luck to you. Glad you had a mini Vacation and got to relax. Take care Kay0 -

but do stay on top of the lymphedema. I have it in my breast/trunk and I use my Flexitouch machine at home whenever it's really acting up. I also have exercises and massage techniques I can do. Finding a good certified lymph. specialist may not be easy--they are a small, select group. Also, protect that side like crazy--no heavy lifting for you and be careful of cuts/infections. This isn't fun, but like you said--it sure could be worst.
Take good care,
Hugs, Renee0
