producing a little more saliva
Still need the stoppers 4 or Biotin during the day I still have problems with mucus it’s bad in the morning and night,
Some one put a post on about soft food (Meatloaf) I would like to have the recipe for it and soft food.

AND (thank you, Stacey) lots of foobricants (foods that are lubricants) like gravy. Gravy - a big part of our food pyramid.
One of the first meats I did well with was chicken and dumplings (lotsa gravy, chicken slow cooked in broth, dumplings cooked in broth). A hamburger patty may go down easier if you mix in some baby food in your meat patty (in fact, copy cat recipes for some fast food chains tell you to mix in veal baby food with the hamburger meat). After treatment, I had luck eating the Barefoot Contessa's (Ina Garten's) turkey loaf (I made it at home, but it's also served at Joseph Beth Booksellers). I also did well with steamed chicken from local chinese place (again, with sauce). Did well with bean soup, too - filling and protein even without meat. Spaghetti sauce took a while to not burn for me, and took longer for me to be able to eat spaghetti (I could eat other pastas first), but several people did not have issues with tomato products burning. Also, I could eat veggie patties in gravy way before hamburger patties (but I didn't try the baby food thing).0 -

Hmm, honestly, I cannot remember a meatloaf recipe. Or anyone who posted one. Maybe I am slipping in my old age. I do not find meatloaf particularly easy to swallow. Meatballs are getting a tad easier, but not much for me. I have been making head way with ground beef, by adding lots of beans, vegetables and bulgur wheat in with the beef. It stretches out the meat, mixing in more moist and easier to swallow ingredients, not to mention makes it healthier and increases the fibre. I have been eating this filling with tacos or enchiladas.
When I make the meatballs, I find that the same principle holds true. If I add some soaked fresh bread, a couple of eggs, and some romano cheese, it lightens the meatball, makes the texture finer and easier to swallow.
I cannot eat hamburgers yet either, but I have managed a lamb burger. More fat makes it go down a bit easier.
Here is a meatloaf recipe, I have tweaked, and that I am actually going to try also. I am going to cook it at my BFF's house, this way I know it will get eaten, in case I cannot.
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 eggs
1 cup rolled oats (dry oatmeal)
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup ketchup
1 onion, minced
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
1 carrot, shredded
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan.
2.In a mixing bowl, put the oats in, pour in the milk, eggs, 3 tablespoons of the ketchup, add carrot, onion and green bell pepper. Mix until combined. Add ground beef and mix until thoroughly combined.
3.Place the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape into a loaf. Brush the top with the remaining ketchup.
4.Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until done. Allow to stand 5 minutes before slicing.0 -

I may be jumping the gun on producing more saliva or wishfull thinking. Today has been bad I when around all day with water and spray.

That is good news the saliva glands may be starting to work with the meds. One day you have more saliva the next day not as much, remember they are damaged and it will take time. Like I was told 4 to 6 weeks on the medicine before you will know for sure if it is working.
Keep up the good work and keep drooling over the Meatloaf
