Congratulations! So great to hear some good positive posts. Best of luck with your recovery, and take it slow. Remember slow and easy wins the race. Keep in touch.

How is Nick today?
Nick's made a loop of the floor already this morning. He's most unhappy about the nose tube and the sore throat that it's giving him. But if that's the biggest complaint he has following major surgery, I'm thrilled!
He's anxious to drink and/or eat. I know... eating is a ways away, but he is HUNGRY! Can't get the swallow test done quickly enough for me.
Hope your day is peaceful and has a smiling patient at the other end.0 -
Jeff Thomas posting from hospital!!
What do you say to THAT except what has been said, and WOW! WOW! WOW!
I am so impressed and amazed to see one posting from their bedside post surgery when most are still GROGGY!! I am also amazed at our technology, as another is posting from the surgery waiting room!!! WOW!
This is an amazing group, an amazing board and I am so glad to be a part of this with you all. What a difference a day can make, huh? Walking, typing, taking time to share with US right after you are up! Thank you. I am touched.
Keep the faith and keep us posted, both of you. What a week so far!!

Gla to hear the surgery went well and you are on the mend. Glad to the surgeon took his time, while I hated waiting I wanted our surgeon to take his time. Try to get up and get walking, it will help.
