Got my PET results today, and they were clear. He said that my scan looked so good that we would not continue the chemo. It is a insurance poilicy anyway according to him. the last 6 months was to be a 5FU pill and a very light dose.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel for those of you who are facing surgery and post surgery chemo. It is worth the battle!!!!
God Bless all of you.

Incredible news!
Chad,
I am so glad to hear that you have wont the battle so far!
We will look forward to further updates and smooth sailing for you for a while.
I am in awe of your strength and courage to face the surgery and chemo and come out the other side so successfully. You are one of a select luck few who have joined a special club from what I read every day. You fought it an won and deserve all the accolades that accompany that in my opinion. You are an inspiration to others now and that is such a powerful thing that the newbies walking into this as we all did at some point really need on here!
Take care and keep us posted on you progress from here!
All the best,

Woo Hoo!
Great news to hear on the day when my husband completes his surgery. We are anxiously awaiting tomorrow's pathology report so we know the status of the 2 - 3 enlarged nodes.
It *IS* wonderful to hear that this is a battle that can be won! Congratulations, Chad!
