Congratulations Buzz! :-)0 -
Good for you!
You have been thru quite a lot and now the rest from that stress will be good! I am semi- retired - laid off right after my DX, was on unemployment for 2 yrs and then last Nov was hired PT for REI. I am loving it! Miss the big bucks sometimes but my little ole PT job has the best benefits and supports my outdoors habits. LOL0 -
congratulations
I started work when I was thirteen and still at it .Even worked thru chemo. It would be nice to get some time off for good behaviour. I will probably still be working when I die, preferrably sometime after I get back from fishing. I hope your health lets you enjoy the good times.Ron.0 -
Congrats!
After 27 years you deserve to have your days free for what you need and want to do.
May you have as many years of retirement as you did of work!

Congrats Buzz!
Hello dear Buzz! I haven't been posting very much in the past several months but I saw this post and just wanted to give you my very best wishes for a great retirement. I retired a year ago I guess, seeing as how I am jobless. Although I am FAR too young to retire...LOL...I have really enjoyed this time I've had to do things that I like doing as well as using the energy to get my health & head back together.
I'll mark this day...Sept.8th,2011. Buzzard retired and Jaylo got her scan results. 2 yrs. with no evidence of disease. That's enuff to make us both shout halleluyah!
Best always,
JayLo aka Pat0 -
