The Squeaky Wheel
But here is the great news...they are going to do all scans on Friday and I will be home Monday. My case should be presented next Thursday and I will keep you all posted.
We went to the Japanese Garden at the zoo. Danny thought I needed to chill ;-)
Actually, knowing that the scheduling mess is resolved, I am in a great mood!

Good for you!
Good for you! I have also had to fight tooth and nail for every procedure, scan, med etc. because in the end WE are the ones that have to live with our decisions/health not them. Make them earn their Mercedes! Haha! Enjoy the rest of your day and keep us posted! Cory0 -

Yes and many thanks to all my Pink Ladies who cheered me on and encouraged me to kick butt!! Still laughing that Chen, Traci and VickiSam became as indignant as me (although Traci was willing to sell out for Nemo). Love you all!!! We are off to the Galleria tonight. Not really a Galleria type of gal,but I am sure it will be entertaining. Will hit the museums tomorrow. Then Friday it's off to PET scan and a gourmet drink (NOT). ;-)0 -

Yes, we are the ones that live with our decision regarding our health, health care, preferred facility, treatment plans .. not them.
CC -- I am glad that you pushed forward, which resulted in a full day of testing on Friday == Kudos to you, Great WARRIOR -- Sister in PINK ))) Next step, World domination.
Pat yourself on the back -- and enjoy the rest of today, and tomorrow with Danny. Did your heels get scuffed up?? I surely hope so ~~~
I'll be gassing the bus up tomorrow so that we can be there to support you on Friday. We, 'Kindred Spirits' promise to behave ourselves at MD Anderson -- I am hoping the weather and air conditioning holds up, otherwise I may have to jump into 1 of the fountains to cool off.
Gentle hugs, CC

As Vicki Sam said--very strong warrior, indeed. And, as for behaving myself on the pink bus and at MD Anderson--I never promised that.
CC--I love that you were the squeaky wheel. Not only does this help you, it will probably help others in the future who may be placed in this predicament. Good job!
Positive energy zooming your way.

CC, this is excellent news.
CC, this is excellent news. Yes, the squeaky wheel does get the grease...in your case the scans you are there for. I was happy to read that you got it done. I can't say I was surprised though because you are a get it done kindred spirit. I'll be on the bus tomorrow with all my other sisters. Sending (((hugs)))!!0 -
Now it is late and the first
Now it is late and the first scan is at 11:30 AM. This is when I start to get a nervous stomach. I know it will help that you ladies will be there with me tomorrow. Please be dutifully impressed by the bubbly things and aquariums. Traci, no fishing for Nemo. LOL!0 -

Try to stay calm (easy to say, I know). Breathe deeply, center, and expect the best results possible. We are all with you in spirit. Sending my most positive energy to you tonight and tomorrow. Keep us posted.
