    What great news!
Bless you, Michael! That's wonderful news! It looks like the whole "junior" class is moving forward together. We just got our surgery date.

Prayers to you and the others traveling with us! Prayers to all that can't make the surgical journey. And Big Hugs and Prayers to ALL of the caregivers.

    Nick & Terry
    Niki,
You are right we have not heard from Terry & Nick yet. Positive thoughts and prayers head their way!
    Thanks for the reminder
I once had the best memory in the world (not so much any more)
    How was your day?
    Erica

    We're in!
Surgery for Nick is scheduled for 9 AM on 09/08. I've got a post elsewhere in the forum about it so won't go on here.

    Blessings to all of us!

    Any date yet
    Michael,

What are you next steps to obtaining a surgery date? We look forward to having you progress with us. Wish like hell I could find a way to bring the Stage 4's along to surgery also.

Hoping and praying that you are as well as can be and moving forward 1 step at a time.

    No Date Yet
No date yet........I thought with all the helter skelter stuff they had me going through, PET scan prior to the tumor board meeting, the colonoscopy, the biopsy of the node and the breathing test ans such, that after I finished it all that, I thought the next day they would call with a surgery date.......BUT.....unfortunately no calls yet. I've made 3 calls and left three messages with the nurses.. It's beginning to look like a personal desk pounding visit may be in order.

Anyway, I'm still looking forward to completing the junior class with the others and am definitely praying for those with surgery this week.

    Thanks for thinking of me.

    Roger on the Desk Pounding
    Michael:

Maybe I was just lucky in that I only had to call once to remind them to schedule my MIE and call me with a date. I "threatened" (well, not in a threatening way :-) ) to call every morning until I was scheduled, and by lunchtime I was scheduled. That was at Mass General in Boston. I had posted on the board that I didn't want to bug them, and Niki quite rightly advised to not worry about it. We are consumers and they are the contract service providers - plus this is our lives we're talking about! So call often or go in and (rhetorically) pound the desk. It's your right and your obligation to yourself.
