EC back

Sorry to say that Don's EC is back. He has a tumor that came up on his Clavicle bone. Had a biopsy and it is Stage 4. He will have a Petscan Tuesday to see if it is anywhere else in his body. Will find out on Wednesday. If it is, there will be nothing they can do and he does not want to go through anymore Chemo and I'm not sure that he is even strong enough for that. They ask him if he was interested in doing Clinical trial, but after reading the literature they gave us, I don't think he will. So now, we are once again asking for your prayers. We know that no matter what, our Lord will be with us. We are just going to live each day as it comes and trust that he won't suffer too much. He is using a pain patch now and that seems to help with his pain. Will let you know what the Dr says next week.

I am sorry
This unrelenting cancer has come to claim one more. I am so sorry for this. Don you are a brave man and Reba you are a brave woman. Anyone in this world who has had to face EC just once is brave but to do it twice like you guys and My Vince and I it is so sad. My thoughts and prayers are really not enough to tell you I give but I give them freely. Life is just not fair at times. We have been dealt a nasty stack of cards and my heart grieves for you.

Shocked and saddened...
Reba,
I am so sorry to hear this news. My heart is with you. We will be praying for you and hoping for pain free days and nights. I don't know what else to say.
Glad you have the group for support and glad he has you too.
I wish I had words that helped. If I did, I would use them for me and everyone else too.
Hang in there and keep us posted on the PET.
