Return of my tumor

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Only two months past a clear PET and an MRI shows the return of the tumor and it is even more aggressive. It is paralyzingly the left side of my head and neck. Doctors given me a few weeks to months. Declining surgery since it has invaded my brain case and brain stem. I'm now on erbetrex chemo for palliative care. Suggestions, ideas and support gladly welcome.

    I am hoping that the Erbitux helps you. I am sorry that your cancer has returned. Can I put you on my prayer list?

    So, so sorry for the news. I wish all the best for you during this very difficult time. I too will add you to my H&N list for prayers.....Keep close to your loved ones and like Hondo said, there is always hope...

    Very sorry it's come back so aggressively.

    I don't mean to sound like a Pollyanna, but if docs give you months now, there's a chance progress will be made, and the outlook can improve. That's my hope. Do well.

    Hi Kenspoppa, it's a heartache to hear you have a terminal diagnosis only months after a clear report. We all fear as much. I hope the erbutox chemo has no side effects or pain, otherwise you might consider telling the docs to stop it. There are those on the board who will advise you to fight, to rage, until the end, if that be the case. I respect their opinion. For myself, I hope to try to reach some peace and understanding. I hope things turn around for you, and I wish you peace and understanding.

    Docs at Hopkins told us about a trial drug by Merck called ANTI -PD 1 ask doc about it.
