Remission?
Living life without Chemo is a very good thing. I wish anyone currently in treatment the best and know there is a future beyond treatment sessions and chemo side effects.
I wonder how long this phase will last.
Best wishes to all.

glad to hear
Hi Mike,
It's good to hear from you & it's especially to hear GOOD NEWS!!!
I know you must feel on edge wondering how long will this last, will it come back, or am I in the clear for good? It's tough to know and my hope for you is that it will last indefinitely! For now, enjoy your NED status and NO CHEMO or surgeries!!!
Take care & keep in touch-

Personally
if you're not doing chemo and things look good, enjoy it.
Remission, NED, CURE, etc are just words used by doctors to calm people down.
It's about how you feel or how you're doing. That is what really matters IMO.
If you feel good, then enjoy life. You could get run over by a street car tomorrow.
(of course I hope you don't but I hope you get my point...)
Glad to hear you're feeling well Mike.
I hope you stay off chemo forever

Hello Friend!
I haven't been on much lately either - I am busy with my life. I am so happy with your news, whether NED, remission, whatever! I, too, am NED. I go in Wed (Sep 7) for my latest CT scan...if it's clear, I go on yearly visits! Can't wait....
Whodda thunk back in Oct '08 when we were both diagnosed that we would both be here with this news?
Many hugs, Vicki0 -

Vicki:
It is great to hear from you as well. We began this adventure together and here we are! Congrats on the 1-yr scan cycle, that is major progress.
You know it does sadden me to remember that Mike2 was also with us when we began. His journey ended too soon and was a shock given our bond in time.
Best Wishes.

Still have some but it is greatly reduced. I had surgery April 2009 and still some nerve damage. I guess it really does take time.0 -
"You could get run over by a street car"
STREET CAR? What the hell is a "streetcar"?
(I'm actually older than Phil, and have ridden on those damned things)
STELLA....!!
Great news for you, Mike.
The answer to your question was provided by Phil.
Be aware that it's a terminal disease and plan accordingly
(even if not needed), but enjoy the day, and the hopes for
many tomorrows!
A wish for long life to you, from me!

I just rode a streetcar a few year ago in San Francisco.
