not much going on around my house.hubby is working nights so is sleeping during the day.i will be cleaning the house getting ready for my mother in law.she is coming to stay for a couple of weeks and to be here for my surgery.im glad she is coming it will give us time to visit but i sure wish my mother(wolfen) could be here.she was here for 6 months when i was first dx with ccr.no matter how old we get we always seem to need our mothers.maybe its a mother-daughter thing.have a good one pepe...Godbless...johnnybegood0 -

nothing big here either pepe....big party tomorrow night out a friend who lives in the country.....I am still washing clothes endlessly and cleaning up the home place after being away all summer

this weekend
This weekend, my husband and I are going to a friend's of his from Orange County 50th birthday party on Saturday. Not sure about the rest of the weekend, but I know both of my girls will have to make up some schoolwork. My 15 yr old was absent from school yesterday & will have to make the work up over the weekend. My 11 yr old, well we got a bit behind in her first week of homeschooling & work is due Tuesday, so we need to finish up a few things. Starting next week, the homeschooling is just two days a week.

I am working the 3 day weekend. It is a positive thing, because I now have to energy to do it. My workday is 5 hrs. and requires only a small amount of physical work. I will be glad when I can work more, as my insurance is Cobra and my husband just got a job after being unemployed for 2 1/2 years.0 -

Had a corn hole tournament
Had a corn hole tournament last night for 18 people. Guess who won? The guy with the crc. He was an obnoxious winner and wouldn't go home. He's golfing today with his buddies who now use his illness to convince their wives to golf whenever they want. Some things never change. Lisa0 -

Hi Pepe, We're going out to
Hi Pepe, We're going out to breakfast with Rick's family in the morning, then celebrating his Mom's b'day in the afternoon. His family is big on birthdays, so it will be a fun day for him - especially since he has his kids for entire three day weekend. So while he's away with the kiddies on Monday, I'll be taking down a wall in the basement. (I need my furnace cleaned, and my plumber is too large to squeeze between the studs) :-D With any luck I won't saw through a gas line and blow myself up! ;-) Have a nice weekend everyone. Cyn0 -
