Friday's MRI Results, etc. ...
LOVE my new surgeon - she's absolutely awesome! Completed her residency with my first surgeon. Assumed both his patient roster and staff. The nurses and techs remembered me, and I them. (8 years later!) Huge instant boost to my confidence and comfort levels!
Surgery now fully finalized for Wed., Sept. 7th. Wire-guided lumpectomy, out-patient. Much less invasive than the first one. Of course, any post-op treatment recommendations will be determined by final pathology results.
I keep reminding myself of these words, which I've posted countless times here on the Board: we move forward only one step at a time. :-)
Thanks, again, for all your hopeful thoughts and prayers. Can't truly express how much they mean to me. This wonderful group, this site, is - indeed - "the safest place to land" (as our beloved Chenheart has so often described).
Kind regards, Susan

Good to go news is exactly what the Doctordebi.18 said:"Lovely"
I kinda like that description. Glad to hear everything is "good to go". Praying for the same "lovely" results on the pathology results.
Keep that wonderful postive attitude!
Hugs and Prayers,
Debi
ordered! Susan I will continue to keep you close in prayers and positive thoughts.

Ahhhh Sweet Susan...We do
Ahhhh Sweet Susan...We do what we have to do, so we can do what we want to do!
I think it is amazing that we are so much alike~ and yet did we both really have to have a recurrance 8 years after our original diagnoses??? Enough, already! Imitation may indeed be the sincerest form of flattery, but again, really???? I also know you well enough to know you are smiling at me and with me right now!
My heart rejoices in the good news amidst the bad~ you will come through this with flying colors.
Hugs,
Chen♥0 -

Yes, as I read your post - was, of course, smiling. (You know me so well!) Eight long years ago, way before we knew each other - our paths along the journey almost identical, nearly parallel. And here we are, once again... This time, side by side. Shoulder to shoulder. Holding hands.
Again?!? Really?!? Eight frickin' years later?!? Total agreement - enough already!!! SHEESH!!!
Love, xo 12/25
P.S. to ALL: Thanks, again! For all your support & encouragement. :-)0 -
