Hey gang,
I won't be posting for the next few weeks, my siblings and I are headed to Europe on Saturday :-)
I am stoked. We have been looking forward to this for a long time. We are visiting Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome. We came up with the trip after my health improved this spring. My sisters and brother were very sweet and refused to buy trip insurance as a sign of faith and solidarity.
So we will be busy having fun and making all Americans look bad until mid September! lol
Strength and love,
Ray

your trip..
Ray...
I was really glad to hear about your trip and the fact that you're having faith in yourself. I'm trying to get my husband to take me somewhere nice after my chemo ends. I'll show him your posting about having faith and soidarity about insurance which I think might swing things for me as I do want to travel and be as normal as possible.
Bon voyage0 -

Hi Ray: Have a wonderful trip! In Venice, get off the main streets where all the tourists are and explore the little side streets, local restaurants, untouristy districts. It is a beautiful interesting city (I was there 2 years ago). Take the vaporetto to the outer islands and give the sphaghetti negro a try (spaghetti with squid ink sauce) - it is delicious! Have a bellini for all of us back here!
Ciao!
