Nope… I’m still around and kicking but just not kicking as hard as I used to. LOL I didn’t leave CSN because of the arguing even though the fighting does get old but being what we’re going through I think we all just get a little stressed out. Cancer will do that to a person.
I thought I gave everybody a update on my re-scan but then again maybe not. Chemo brain strikes again! The last scan came out clear and I fired my old Onc for not telling me about the 2 spots on lungs and the one on my liver back in May and got a new doctor who I really like. Told him to never lie to me or withhold any information that I might want to know about like SPOTS ON A SCAN!!!
I’m going to try for SSI or something to still not being about to work. I poop anywhere from 10 to 50 times a day and sometimes more and when the feeling comes I better go NOW and not try to hold it. So if you ever see anyone running through a grocery store jumping over little kids and pushing people out of the way it might be me running for the bathroom. Also I never got over the Neuropathy in my lower back, hips, and legs caused by the Oxiplation. OMG my legs hurt!!
I’ll try to keep everybody updated more often and never forget you are like me 2nd family

Thanks for the update (or scoop on your poop)
Glad you got a new Onc. No one should have to put with crap like that Brooks.
Be well,

bathroom
I don't go that much, but husband and dogs know to stand clear if it looks like I am headed for the bathroom. I am waiting for dr. appt. Fri. to find out about the spot on my liver found on CT and PET scans last week. I am really nervous, should I be? I was 3 treatments away from being done with chemo.0 -
Glad to hear from you
And glad to hear you are still fighting to maintain that attitude! I had to give up some of my attitude and had my reversal reversed. Well, I had to because of a blockage due to an infection. The scar tissue is permanent and the blockage will likely remain that way for ever. I had gotten pretty miserable with all the bathroom trips and bum maintenance. Having a permanent ileo pisses me off, but it is all better than dying. Just take care when you are jumping over people and pushing people - one of them might be me and my bag gets very full! You just might get a poo granade on he back side of your head! Oh the crap we have to put up with, eh?0 -
Brooks
As someone that left the campus and then a mile down the road and prayed (I've discovered God a few times this way) I would make it to the Home Depot at the next exit a half mile up the road, I can sympathize!!!!
OMGosh, it feels rather strange to scout out all the open restrooms in our areas. (Mine is particularly rough to find a restroom, most places do not have one available to the public, no matter the reason, and the ones that do, are very strict about ONLY CUSTOMERS can use them, due to the many homeless people in our area).
