Look good, feel better

Yes!
It was wonderful and informative. They help you learn to draw brows and how to apply makeup if you need help.
The best part was all the FREE brand name cosmetics. At mine, they even offered some free wigs if you wanted one.
Laurissa, I am thinking of you and sending love and positive energy. You can do this girl and you are an inspiration to all of us here.
Go get all dolled up at this meeting and lift your spirits. A little makeup can do wonders right?
Surrounding you with love and a big hug!!!!

Fantastic program
Look Good Feel Better is a fantastic program. I've been to 2 of them because the first one was fun (you only get a 'goodie bag' once though.)
One of the things you will be taught is the points to use for drawing on natural looking brows.
The ones I went to were done at the CCI I wnet to and gave out wigs to those who needed/wanted them.
You should hae a great time!

Laurissa, no tattoo's during
Laurissa, no tattoo's during chemo! Don't want to add an infection to the mix. I am planning my new tattoo for April 2012. One year after chemo.
Any way, the Look Good, Feel Better thing is great fun! The women that put it on are amazing and the other women there are fun to exchange tips with. Have a wonderful time.

Look in the cosmetic sections at most retailers, they make eyebrow stencils. I made a personal one of my arch with an old plastic milk carton. I never completely lost all my eyebrows or lashes. Once the hair started growing back, the new growth then pushed out the old hairs. So maybe you will be the same...
Hugs to you dear sister,
Lorrie
P.S. I remember someone once posted that Walgreens had them.0 -

Laurissa - have a good time today. You are so
pretty already, but isn't it fun to try different
make-ups & wigs. The ACS has eyebrow stencils
of different shapes and sizes you can order from
their website "tlcdirect.org". I ordered one set
last week and can't wait to try it. Praying for
you to feel better. You are a strong pink warrior
and I am inspired by you.

I went to one of those meetings and it was fun! Got a lot of makeup tips, some free name brand makeup, and some ideas about scarves and wigs...Plus a lot of conversation with other sisters!
Hope you have as much fun as I did...

I have also known survivors that loved this! Hope you did too!0
