We're home!
The photo is of the Mama Bear and her cub that we saw in Glacier. Danny had to hold me back in order to keep me from becoming one of those eaten tourists that you read about ;-)

"Mountain Rainy are" is fantastic!
AKA Mt. Rainier - When we fist moved to Whidbey Island, the Boys were 3 and 4 (almost 4 and 5 but not quite) and that's what they called it - also Baker was Mountain Vaker. Glad you didn't get caught in a blizzard up there - can happen almost anytime. I've been caught up there in several little ones but only one nasty one during elk season when I was guiding. Had to stow most of the gear til spring and turn the pack stock loose to get to trailhead on their own and then we tailed out (rode in a few sections) on the riding stock.
Glad you didn't turn yourself into bear bait - so many Duds do.

Adventures -- I am sure Danny still has a smile on his face!!! So thrilled that your survived the 'outdoors' elements and creatures. Surely enjoyed the picture of Mama Bear and her cub -- kinda of reminds me of you -- protecting her own.
Any decision made regarding Amtrak ??
Thinking of you .. and your up coming trip to MD Anderson on 9/9/11.
Gentle hugs ===

So glad
So glad you had a good time. Love the picture of the bears, and I too would be one of the tourists eaten by the bears, cause they just look so cuddly.
