You did it!!!!!!! The last day of radiation. What a wonderful feeling eh? And keep moving forward. I was exhausted after rad. but exercise helped get my stregnth back. I'm not talking a work out...only a walk to the end of the block and back. And for my hair, they said your hair will not fall out. Well mine sure did thin out. So like you I cut it short and SASSY! By the way yours looks really cute on you..you look like a sassy girl also. And I agree with so many others, I have always had poker straight hair. You should see my curls, only in the back. And by the way my hair is much thicker now. It will happen. Just wait.
Happy to hear you finished treatment. Hope that you are healing fast. ~Carol0 -

I'm 4 weeks out and the hair just keeps coming out. Its very thin, but I'm able to disguise it fairly well (my hair is curly). When does it start to come back? My hairdresser told be about 18 months. Is that right??0 -

My hair started coming back after about 4 to 6 months, and I complete tx 6-30-09, and my hair is very plentiful and thick now. I didn't have to use a wig, but certainly could have. My hair was very thin. I just camoflaged it, but it was obvious that I had lost a lot of hair. I just didn't care enough to have a wig, and I know people figured it out, but weren't rude and ask a lot of ?s. I wish you well. Lori0 -

I started noticing new growth a couple of months after treatment ended--little tiny hairs popping up on my hairline. It was a great sight! My hair grows very fast, so it wasted no time in making a comeback. I hope yours will be the same way. You are still early out of treatment, so it may be a little while yet. Please don't get discouraged! Hugs!0 -

I'm 8 weeks out of treatment and it is still falling out. However, I have just noticed some short stubs growing in. Also, shaved my under arms for the first time in months this week. My hair looks thin, but it is to hot to wear the wig. I'll keep you update on the growth...

My hair started growing back within 2 months following treatment. And now it's super thick and curly, whereas before it was thick with just a tiny bit of wave. Since yours is curly to begin with, I'm anxious to hear how it grows back. Keep me posted!0 -

I am so excited to see my new hair. It was thinning just a little at the crown due to hormone fluctuations before diagnosis. It would be awesome if it came back thick! I can't wait to tell you how it turns out!!0 -

My hair is baby fine and thin...what a combo. On the crown of my head I was a little thin about 8-12 weeks into treatment. I don't think my hair loss was that obvious to anyone but me. I am light brown normally. The good news is It grew back much thicker than ever before. I would guess about 6-8 months after treatment. I cut it short and let it do what ever it wanted. Actually short was easier for me to take care of when I wasn't on top of my game. You know just a wash and wear cut. On the bright side it will grow back. But I must admit I didn't mind not shaving my legs all the time!!0
