Great news! I will have a colonoscopy in April of 2012. I have to have one every 3 years, since they found polyps, and 1 was a rectal polyp that was pre cancerous. Did you get put under for the colonoscopy?
I know each step of the way after getting good results from exams and tests, it just makes us feel so much stronger. I wish you well. Lori0 -

yes, i was put under. had my colonoscopy done by the colorectal surgeon in louisiana who properly diagnosed my cancer in 2009. he is very kind and thoughtful about the pain assoc. with the scar tissue and etc. Using the pediatric scope is the trick. ( I had a colonoscopy done in 2004 and woke up twice during it, but it did not hurt because i did not have the tumor yet.) now, i get a proctoscope done by the colo rectal surgeon at MDA next month. wide awake for that wonderful experience. sephie0
