We are so thankful for you, Carlene!
I derived a great deal from all the remarks under this thread. Carlene, and all the rest of you, put it so succinctly in describing the ramifications of this disease.
I know for myself although I am doing very well now (everyone says I look the picture of health), I admit to great fear and trepidation about my future and this has impacted on some of the people in my life.
My checkup with my oncologist is looming on the 30th of this month and I am very nervous. However, when I read your postings, I glean courage from you, Carlene, and all you other wonderful women.
Again, and I've said it before, I thank the dear Lord I found this website. I feel at home here.
