Hi Laurisa!
I am so happy to see your post!
I am so sorry you had such bad experience. You're in my prayers. I hope you can take the next treatments with minimal to no side side effects.
When I was taking AC I had stomach issues. But I took ativan which kept me stable and I was able to sleep/rest. I am not sure if this is a medication that your Dr. can prescribe, but I would ask. Also, what are you eating these days? I know with mouth sores it’s very difficult. It’s important to always eat though to keep your energy and to help your stomach. When you eat small portions during the day, it helped me a lot. Even if not hungry, always snack and keep your stomach with some foods inside.
I really, really want you to recover and feel better. Good luck on Wed. and please if you can, keep us posted.0 -

so glad to hear your back home, and doing better. I know they pump you full of fluids in the hospital, and that usually contributes to the weight gain. I will continue to pray that your body will respond well to nourishment, and what treatments they prescribe for you. I hope you will be able to rest better now that you are home. You have a wonderful sister who has been kind to keep us all posted as we wonder how you are doing.

You have no idea how wonderful it is to see you post. We have all been so worried about you, even though your sweet sister Kathy had posted an update. And, I truly thank her for that.
So happy to know you are home and feeling somewhat better. I have to agree with Melanie, in a lot of times, even though you don't eat, whatever they have in the IV's can put some weight on.
I pray that your chemo this Wednesday will not be hard on you Laurissa.
Please keep updating us, and, especially after your treatment this week.
You are so loved on this board Laurissa and all of the pink sisters are praying for you.
Sue
p.s. I know what you mean about having a good family and I am so thankful you do Laurissa. I don't know how I would have gotten thru all that I did with bc without my beloved husband, our family and my wonderful friends. I thank God for them daily!0 -

Laurissa - so glad to see your post. And that you are out
of the hospital! I hope you feel better every day. You are
so cared for on this board and we were all so worried about
you. I am praying for you and will pray specifically for a
easier time for your tx Wed. Laurissa, I had bad mouth
ulcers after every tx. I know you know this, but I could
only eat soft cold stuff (Jello, pudding, popsicles, ice cream.
drank a lot of Gatorade) and one hot food which was oatmeal.
It slides down so easily. I know your pain and can sooooooo
empathsize with you. Fight this, sweet girl, and I am sending
you strength, courage, love, prayers and Big hugs!

and that you're home and things turned around for you. Sending everything I've got at the moment your way as you continue your treatments. What do they have up their sleeve for preventing this from happening again.

So glad to hear from you. Hopefully, they will counteract all the bad stuff with the next treatment. As for the weight gain--sounds like it's just fluid which I'm sure will go away soon.
Wonderful that you have a great family to rely on. We've missed you, but are so glad you're back with us. Now, try to rest, relax and rejuvenate as much as possible.
