salvage prostatectomy

Thanks for posting your case
John
You belong to the few groups of patients who got salvage surgery for RT recurrence. This is a difficult approach but curable. It will take its time (longer) but you can expect full recovery/healing from the treatment. Incontinence may be the most difficult part to get to normalcy.
I wonder what has been the chronology of your PSA and your age at the time of treatment.
Wishing you get better and that cath out the soonest.
Welcome to the board.

Good luck!
Sorry that BT didn't work out for you but am glad your salvage surgery apparently went well and hope you get better soon.
Guess, your experience puts the lie to the claim that people w/PCa who have radiation treatment can't later have surgery done.

I hope your doctors are right and you heal perfectly.
For a guy undergoing IGRT treatment right now leading up to BT, I thank you for sharing your story.
Where did you get your surgery done?
Good luck!!!!
