Bad couth need help

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Along with my other problems like dry mouth and can’t swallow
Since Radiation I have a couth it is worse in the morning but I have through the day bad again late afternoon I couth up flame like you do with a chest cold sometimes I don’t have control over it I couth and it goes in the floor or on me has anyone had this problem and there anything that can be done or is caused from the radiation.

    I get this every now and then but all I do is take over the counter meds for it. But before you do please check with your doctor and see if you can do that or if he will prescribe something to help you. I understand how nagging it is so how you get some relief from it.

    Robert Jim has the same thing, especially in the morning. As Hondo said, ask doctor before taking over the counter meds. Jim can take Robitusin, it is liquid Musinex, saame ingredient, since he can't swallow and it helps to thin the mucus. He usually coughs more at first to get the mucus up but it thins it to get it out. After that he is ok for several hours. I think it must be the mucus that c auses the cough since once it is thinned the cough goes away. But don't try this until you talk to doctor.

    Yes it happens to me as well. I always carry a napkin, not a tissue, with me. Add to this the fact that my chin is numb and I can't tell you the number of times I've had that crap on my chin and not realized it. Glad I got married before this happened because I don't think I would have attracted too many otherwise. :>)

    I cough constantly. People
    I cough constantly. People think I have some kind of plague, it can be really embarrassing and it's annoying to say the least. I cough crap up in the morning, the rest of the day, it's a dry tickle.
