bone necrosis

in Brain Cancer #1
So my sister is back in the hospital with sepsis again...But went in because she was having thigh pain, and it hurt to walk. The MRI showed something abnormal in her bone, the doctor said something about necrosis. I know what necrosis is but wondering if anyone else has experence this with GMBb4? Gosh we just cant win here...

    well I talked to the doctor. They dont know if its necrosis, bone cancer or infection. They will do a bone scan tomorrow. Wondering if anyone has had anything like this. She was walking around the day before and then the pain was so bad she couldnt get up.

    What kind of cancer chemo regiment is she on? If she's on corticosteroids or dexamethasone then try asking her docs if it's from dexa because dexa can weaken the bones or even cause Avascular necrosis. Will pray for her recovery

    she was on decadron, I did say that to the doctor she just looked at me. She took it for about 4 months. They are doing a bone scan today,

    they said that is necrosis, more that likely from the decadron.
