I did six months of folfox in 2008. I now have 3 lung nodes and a possible stomach node. Went in Wednesday for oxaliplatin and avastin. I haven't been able to keep anything in my stomach since. Any tips for drink or food to help? Thanks.

    Call your Oncologist
    right away.

He may prescribe a suppository for the nausea, and he may recommend you go the ER to get fluids. I know I did that a couple of times when I was on Folfox.

Three days without fluids is very dangerous, so please treat this as serious.

    Agree, Get hydrated...
Then speak with your Dr or maybe a nutritionist to find that common place. With Oxaliplatin the cold temp food and drinks are out, everything at room temp...and I found that spicy in small doses is more pallatable than normal foods when doing Oxaliplatin..Chili in small spoonfuls was a staple for me during oxy treatment..I think it overwhelms the nausea...but yes I agree to get hydrated first off.....

Call your doctor. You need your strength. There are plenty of medications out there to help your tummy. Hope you feel better soon.
