Goodbye Mom
24 treatments in 14 months, a clinical trial and surgery.
Mom also was able to find peace this week for which I am so greatful, Mom went on her terms. Last Wednesday she decided to come off of the Ringers Lactate, she felt and so did her doctors that it would only prolong her death by a few days. She did not want that, she was ready to be with her other family.
So it is with a very, very heavy heart that I say goodbye to my mom. She was a warrior right to the end and she will always be my hero.
Kelly
Thank you ladies for your support over the last 14 months. I will forever be greatful.

So sorry
So sorry to hear this Kelly. My mom passed away several years ago and she suffered a long long time. I finally had to come to the point that I told her it was okay to go. She was a fighter and loved life. I hated to tell her that and it was the hardest thing I ever did.
I am praying for you and your family. Please come back to the boards anytime. We are here for you.

HUGS AND PRAYERS
So sorry for your loss, Kelly. I'm so glad to hear your Mom went peacefully. Those of us left behind always need to deal with such grief and sadness. Take heart in knowing that you've been a superb daugther, and your dear mother's transition to her New Life was easier in large part because of you.
Hugs and Prayers,

So sorry for your loss. I know the pain of losing a mother. I lost mine 2 yrs ago (uterine cancer) and honestly, it still hurts alot. How wonderful that your mom went peacefully at home, surrounded by love and that she was at peace.

So sorry for your loss .
You are such a good daughter it will be hard at first but try to remember the joy the two of you shared . The parent/child bond is so strong I don't believe even death can break it. She is connected to you still . Thank-you for sharing your Mom with us and don't forget us, your cyber-family, I am amazed at the bond I feel for people I have never met in person.
I hope I can be as brave as she was when it is my time to make those hard decisions. She truely was a fine example to follow.

My heart breaks for you...I have two daughters about your age and I worry more for them than for myself. You were a great daughter and did your very best for your mom. May God wrap his arms around you and hold you tight and get you thru this terrible time.

Kelly, I am so sorry for
Kelly, I am so sorry for your Mother's death. It's good to know that she was a fighter because that is what counts. I had a lady tell me once that cancer can take your body, but it can't take your soul. That has always stuck with me in a positive way because I believe it to be true.0 -
Very hard
Losing a mother is just so sad. I hope you and your family find comfort in each other and the many good memories you have of your mother. I can tell that you helped her move along without regrets. That's wonderful that she could leave you in peace. May that peace extend to you.0 -
Dear Kelly
You and I both know that there are absolutely no words right now that can even begin to describe this loss...I am glad your Mom was comfortable and had come to acceptance. I know she was a strong believer and I hope that helped her to her peaceful place. Too many Moms passing away from this terrible disease. Yes, this board is a lifesaver isn't it? I could never have gotten to this point without it. I really liked your Mom and her wisdom, and will really miss her. I hope 1000 angels met her and that she and my Mom are watching over us now. God Bless and my deepest condolences....sincerely, Lisa0
