What state do you live in?
I live in WA state, in Olympia. Just wondering who is nearby and what treatment centers they've used for what.
THanks in advance to anybody who wants to share

I am just north of Olympia - Gig Harbor! Fantastic sunset tonight while watching the kid's sailing class on Wollochet Bay
Wow, you are very close. It was a beautiful day yesterday, especially since I was expecting rain, so a wonderful surprise!
What kind of treatments did you get and where?
My husband stayed local in Olympia and had surgery to remove tonsils and 28 lymph nodes. He then had 35 radiation treatments, no chemo. He's just post radiation by a few weeks, so life is still awfully tough. I'm hoping staying local was the right thing to do, but I guess I could always second guess if I let myself.
Let me know more about yourself if you would, NW DINO. My husband always loved to go to "Dino Days" - old motorcycles. So when I read your name, I had to laugh.0 -

I finished 35 radiation tx on Dec 15th. Peg feeding tube out by superbowl Feb 1st. Chemo included one Cisplatin then five Erbitux. Dx with BOT SCC Sept 7, 2010 after a biopsy of lump on neck. Treatment at the new facility St Anthony's Hospital Gig Harbor. TRA in Tacoma (Cedar St) for PET scans - very professional. Dr oliviera works both Tacoma & Gig Harbor. The UW in Seattle is very highly rated also. The first couple months after rads are tough - it will get better! I have 98% of my taste buds back. Working on a good diet & exercise. Lost about 35 lbs by end of tx - gained back 10. Takes time. I am a Harley guy also - have a 2003 Road King we like to take around Hood Canal on days like today! It is a battle but stay strong & both of you can enjoy a long life together!0 -
