Remission

in Ovarian Cancer #1
Saw my onc this morning and my ca125 dropped to a 9. He said no more chemo. I will be doing blood work every month. Also looking into clinical trial at either UCSF or Stanford. My onc is not too crazy about this idea though.

    I have done good in that
    I have done good in that case I have not been throwing up at least not yet but I have been very sick to my stomach on the last chemo they gave me a third medication to help and it did I was onl a little sick to my stomach

    Ann have you asked your doctor for Promethegan 25mg. It is a supository and works wonders. Take care of yourself, and I too will continue to pray for you and all the other "teal" ladies on this site.

    What a wonderful idea. There is a Baskin Robbins within walking distance of my home. I think tomorrow I will just have to take my walk to one of my favorite shops.

    Good for you, you did it! I too am remission. It is a wonderful feeling. Enjoy it and ice cream cake sounds like a great idea.

    that is the third one they put me on and it has done wonders I did get a little sick to my stomach but not like I did after the first treatment my next treatment is on Thursday and I will be taking all three my hope is that I have no stomach problems on this next one
