Well, it has been 4 months since my surgery. I am doing very well. I have lost overall around 60lbs. Weighing 207 right now. Just had PET scan July 29th. NED...THANK YOU GOD!!! Doctor's say I am looking very good.i will have scans every three months for about the next two years. I start back to work tomorrow.
Just for an update on my tumor. I have neuroendocrine carcinoma (small cell) tumor. Diagnosed in January 2011. Underwent 3 rounds aggressive chemo prior to surgery in April. Then three rounds post surgery. Feeling really good right now. It has been a long six months. I can finally breath for a little while. I will update my post in near future. I continue to pray for everyone dealing with this horrible disease.

Great News
That is some of the best news I've heard for stage IV patients. Hope my dad will fall in same boat, but I know it is a VERY long shot for that to happen. Can I ask what type of chemo was given to you? or anything else I can pass on to my dad and family? God Bless
