Mom is going home soon

Yesterday my mom decided to come off of the ringers lactate. She told me she knows it will shorten her time her by a few days but she is tired and sick of being sick. She has fought the good fight, one surgery, 24 rounds of chemo including one clinical trial.
I am so proud of her, she has been so brave and at last she has found peace. I am going to miss her terribly and I am at a loss as to help my father who has been with her everyday for the last 50 years. Sept 15 would be their 50th anniversairy and Sept 21st mom's 68th birthday.
Please pray for her. I really hope their is a God and that she can see us from up above and that she is reunited with her brother who she lost when she was 12 and with her parents.
I love you Mom.
Kelly

    So sorry to hear this
There are no words to express to you to make you feel better. God will be with you and your mom and he will see you through this

Hearing is the last sense to go
    Dear Kelly

You probably already know that even while your mom may not look like she is awake, she may still be able to hear you or anyone else talking to her or around her.

I've been at the bedside of various dying people & I've often felt like I had to be the "conversation police" to remind people to step outside the room to have discussions away from the bedside.

I'm so sorry you are going thru all this with your mother. I believe you will be reunited someday but hopefully not in the near future.

    (((hugs)))

I am so sorry to hear about your mom but she will be in a better place and no longer in pain. I will pray that God comforts you and your father during this loss.

    My Dear Kelly,
    Yes, there

    My Dear Kelly,
Yes, there is a God. He will guide you through this difficult time. He is there waiting for your mom so that she may finally be free of cancer and at peace. Just keep telling her how much you love her and someday you will all be reunited.
My heart goes out to you.

    Sincerely,
    Rosemarie

    Dear Dear Kelly
I have no words.....I know the depths of the pain right now and I am sorry you have to experience it...I am also sorry for your Mom, who I love, it is heartbreaking for them to have to come to terms with something so overwhelming. I, too, hope there is a God there who will greet your Mom...I always wondered if anyone came for my Mom and prayed someone was there to greet her...Tell Libby I say hello...please PM me if need be...hold her hand....and just be with her....I remember the last day my Mom was with us, I swear we spoke...she was in a coma, but not yet gone.....we had an amazing conversation, even though she couldn't talk....i wonder if I made it all up in my head, but it seemed so real....now is the time for love....that's it....I'm so sorry....it is hard....I miss my mother every day....every single day....enjoy every single day going forward...please PM me if you need.....fondly and compassionately, lisa
