Internal Radiation

No, I'm sorry, I didn't
Hi -
No, I'm sorry, I didn't have any internal radiation. How do they do that?
The last week of radiation, I had what they called a 'boost' - the radiation beam was focused directly on the tumor area. But no internal radiation...maybe I'm misunderstanding the terminology.0 -

Whatever it is called I'm scheduled for 10:00 am this morning. Hope it is not too painful.

Hi cap630--
I will be thinking of you today as you get the last of your radiation treatment. I hope this procedure will not cause you any more pain and that it is what finishes off your tumor! Please let us know how it went.0 -

Just returned and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I did medicate before going. Currently,no pain, but maybe some side effects in the next few days. All looks good.
Thanks for your support - this website is such a blessing.0 -

So, so happy for you that you are FINISHED with the treatment. You probably won't be too comfortable within the next week or so, but I think that you will discover that about the 8th day post treatment, healing is relatively quick. Blessings to you!!! Angela0
