Just killing time

Well girls, I'm all checked in, having arrived at 5:45 AM, and have already slipped into my haute couture gown. The surgery itself is still an hour+ away, and that's if they aren't running behind.
I decided against wearing my alternative hair into surgery, so today is a landmark event - the first time my naked head has been out of the house in almost 2 years. I do have some hair, very short hair, of a very strange texture. And it's curly - unruly curly, not cute Shirley Temple curly. If my bangs didn't look like a 4 year old's who cut her own hair, it would be much less cancer victim-ish.
I will post as soon after surgery as I can focus my eyes and my poor addled chemo brain. We had to turn around 3/4 of the way here and go back home because I forgot my admissions paperwork.
