Survived my first week back at work

Have not been here for a while. I've been busy solving people's health problems. It was really difficult the first week. I was experiencing a lot of fatigue by day's end. Also, had weird paresthesias down both arms and then weird headaches in the occipital region. Seems OK now, with only slight residual. My Accupuncturist told me it was my body not wanting me to forget the hell I just went through. I try not to forget my "primal" self and even find myself talking to that "primal" self sometimes.

I've been trying out my new mantra, ala the Anti-Cancer book: unangered and forgiving. And it is difficult. I can see so many patterns at work where I would have been much hotter than I get these days. I seem to have a greater serenity as I face frustrating situations at work.

There is stress at my job. I try to acknowledge it and then move on. I hope it does not affect my PET coming up on the 16th.

I am incredibly happy and grateful that I get to go back to work and parts of my life, so soon after treatment. I find myself much more compassionate now as a provider. Thank you Jesus.

Darren

    Hi Darren

That’s great news my friend and I am just glad you are able to get back out and start living your life again. Just got to remember that we all have a new normal but we are still just as good as we were ever.

Keep your faith and keep strong

work to live, not live to work
Glad to hear you are progressing along the path to good health. I think work is key to keep our minds busy and not to dwell on our situation.
I am working full time also and I now don't go crazy over the small stuff that happens. This treatment really sets up ones priorities in the correct line, huh?
    All the best to you
