Hello everyone......It's been awhile......about 2 months...Ive been in touch a little with Carlene and she put up a link to my tribute to my Mom (thanks Carlene since I am technologically inept).....I have to say this grief thing sucks....I miss Mom everyday.....sometimes its really bad...I got a new puppy......who knows if that will help.....I think about you all everyday....I just have trouble coming and posting.....I hate seeing you all fight this disease....FYI, I have written the White House in hopes of doing something to bring awareness to this beast....President Obama's mother died of it and I am the person who has the photos of hi from college. we were friends...so who knows...I pray for you all daily....sometimes the grief is worse even though its been 2 months.....but I never ever forget you all and your support.....pleae keep fighting.....

    Lisa, I really admire you. It is so hard to lose a parent. I lost my mom several years ago and to this day, something will happen that I want to share with her and I think I can go to the phone and talk to her. Then I realize... she is gone.

    I watched your tribute to your mom and it was just wonderful. Your mother was a very beautiful lady. I wished I could have met her.

    Please come back to the boards when you feel that you can. We all love you.

    Lisa I have been worried about you
    I know your moms passing was very difficult. Your tribute was heartfelt and very emotional. I am glad to hear from you and hope you will come and visit us again. Your mom lives in your heart now and her memories will never be forgotten

    What a heartwarming tribute
    Lisa, I watched the tribute to your dear mother, it was profoundly beautiful and I cried when I listened to it.

    My mother died of ovarian cancer in 1991 at the age of 68.

    I was diagnosed with OVCA last May 2010 and I am currently in remission.

    This hideous disease has claimed far too many women.

    I hope your new puppy will bring you some much needed comfort.

    I was just thinking about you, missing you and hoping you would post. And here you are...
    I haven't viewed the tribute to your Mom yet because I think I'll bawl like a baby when I do. Yes grieving sucks.. it's been 2 yrs since I lost my mom and I am doing so much better but still having some very blue days.. It's a slow, painful process.. be good to yourself and give yourself time. Hoping the new Pup brings you lots of joy. Take care and don't be a stranger.

    Cindy....the tribute to Lisa's mom is so uplifting. Joan had the most wonderful smile, and it was just so great to see that smile, slide after slide, thru all those years. It warmed my heart.

    Nice to hear from you. A puppy how wonderful what kind did you get ? My dog is so sweet and very attentive to me since I have gotten sick. Dogs give you a special kind of love that helps any bad situation. Try to keep us posted on how you are doing your posts were always helpful.
