Sorry, but I don't know too much about this drug. I will call my friend and ask more questions. I do know it is being used for colon cancer patients as that is what my friend has as well. We are in the US, but the trial has been in the UK and now Germany. I will post more when I gather some more info.

Genelux has it's corporate headquarters in Redlands California not far from Loma Linda. They have their research facility in San Diego at the San Diego Science Center. They have recently been approved by the FDA to proceed directly to phase II trials base on the results from Royal Marsden Hospital in London. The US trials will be at Sloan Kettering and UC San Diego. The company has been granted Institute status by UCSD. Trials are getting started with patient selection in Germany. My understanding is that German trials are open to anyone who qualifies (not just German citizens) unlike the phase I in England.
