You are in my prayers. I
You are in my prayers. I just saw a program where this lady had 21 tumors in her body and they were going to have to disfigure her in horrible ways to try to save her life and with just a couple of treatments the tumors began to shrink and now there are no signs of the tumors. You keep your head up.

I am so sorry to hear that it has spread. Stay positive and I will be praying for a good outcome. Man, I swear cancer is just not right... I wish they could find away to stop this thing in it's tracks..0 -

I cannot image the "sledgehammer" hit you took hearing all this new information. I can only tell you that we are all here for you. Cancer is an ugly disease and sometimes does not always act like it should. But I am confident in the Dr's in the U.S. to take care of business. Many here have had recurrences and are telling their story here for all of us to read and give us hope.
My wish is for you to find the strength to go through this crap again. You can do it....
Be positive as you approach this new treatment process
All the best

I am so sorry to hear of this. My husband is recovering from parotid cancer with local mets to bone and lymph nodes and I wonder which University's H&N cancer program you are referred to?
I am being referred to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I would like to hear more about your husband since this parotid cancer is so rare. I was beginning to think that I was the only one in the world with it.

U of M is EXCELLENT, that's great news, Roger. I grew up in Ann Arbor, university brat, have been in Columbus for many years and husband is being treated at Ohio State University's James Cancer Center, I understand both OSU and UofM have very highly rated H&Nc treatment programs.
I am glad to have found a parotid friend and will send you a more detailed message later so as not to clog up the board.0 -

So sorry you had to get such bad news. Bad news like this is exactly like you said, a sledgehammer.
I wish you didn't have to go through this right now.
I have experienced the power of prayer first hand in my experience with cancer and I'll be praying and believing for you in this situation. When I first told my mother about my diagnosis she prayed and prayed. The next time I talked with her she said that the Lord spoke to her with the words ALL IS WELL. Those words became my mantra and I still speak them aloud with faith and I will claim that message for you too Roger.
God bless,
