Hi Mary,
Thank you for sharing your good news...I'm so happy for you! Hope you are able to stay cool with the crazy heat! We are on vacation and the weather is absolutely delightful! High 70's during the day and mid 50's at night. Fishing is not so good because of the cool weather, but we arn't complaining!!! Much love to you Mary...Sue (FNHL-2-3A-6/10)0 -
Super News!
HI Mary - what terrific news you received and WHAT a relief! Haven't gotten that for myself so happy for those of you who have! But I'm being given a break for the summer and at times I almost feel like my old self and forget that cancer looms! How wonderful you have 6 months before another check - try to make it a tme you think NOTHING about the disease and enjoy every minute of your life - Fondly, Fran0 -
So happy for you. Knew you
So happy for you. Knew you had an appointment and was waiting for your post. Such good news! Had to reschedule my appointment for September 13 - that was a bummer, but I had a cough for a month and knew I couldn't lie still in that tube.
Have a great summer, when you get time, post another picture of the girls.

You are welcome and thank you. Good to hear you are on vacation, what a nice treat. Those temperatures sound wonderful especially compared to the steam bath we have here. The dew points are so high that I think it's comparable to Guam!! And yes one would never think a resident of Minnesota would suffer from heat! But oh yes we do!! We just get the press for the cold weather. But I digress(as usual). I am happy and relieved and hopefully free for 6 months. As per my Hematologist the stats go something like this....30% chance of a recurrence in 2-3 years,30% in 5-6 years and 30% in 10+. Was reassured that if it returns there are many, many options. So all in all I came away feeling pretty good with it all. Sorry for the long post but I know you and others like to gather as much info as possible as I myself do. Have a great vacation. Love and all the best to you. Mary0 -

Thank You! Yes the relief was actually exhausting to the point of collapse! Lol. I am glad to hear you have a break with time to renew and rebuild. Sounds like you are making the most of it and you have as much support as you want here. They will get it all figured out,I just know it and if you are feeling good so much the better. You take care. Love, Mary0 -

I have been anxiously awaiting a post about your appointment,so sorry you had to reschedule but I don't blame you. When I have a scan it always crosses my mind about the coughing, sneezing,an itch etc. Thanks so much for the well wishes and I will watch for a post with your results. By the way, I am sorry that I missed your phone call. My daughter asked me if I got the message from "the Lady at CNN". I of course thought she was joking and told her that no one from CNN would be calling me! She swore she was telling the truth. We had many laughs and much confusion over it and then I finally figured it out but couldn't find anything on the caller ID. That was you I hope cuz I'm really not ready for prime time. Lol I got a new laptop and need to reload my pictures into it and then I'll put a picture up, They are 14 months old already and have brought me more joy then I could ever have imagined. They are so darn funny and I think half of the fun is watching how very different from each other they are. You take care. Mary0 -

Mary, I am so happy for your great results. I have a PET scan in Sept. My first in a year. I feel good and we both know what a blessing that is!!! We just got back from a vacation and it was 98 in Maine. I thought Florida was warm:) Take care and have a great summer. I know each day will be filled with the joy of your good results. Joanie0
