Gas up the bus, girls!

All aboard! Oh wait, that's what a train guy says.....lol. Anyway....Having a CTscan at 7:00 am tomorrow....this is after my second upped dosage of the clinical trial, oral chemo....which kicked my butt big time! This will show if it's working.....I have to believe it is...both visually and by being able to feel the two places, they appear, to me, to be smaller...no idea of the other nodes that I can't feel....sooooo as long as there is no progression of the disease I will remain on this drug....My oncologist may back the dosage off as the reports he's getting from the trial is this upped dosage is kicking everyone's butt! So we'll see....but it put me down for 10 days as opposed to the first one just making me feel crappy for about 5 days...not really bad at all...will have results on Wed and if it's a go, will take the chemo on Thursday......

Just thinking that since my appointment is soooooo early, I don't want you girls to have to get up that early, so I'll have the hubby take me....lol
I believe Laurissa has an appointment later in the day so we'll just hop the bus for her instead.....plus I have to get up at 5 to start drinking that delicious, white, thick CHALK! Yuk.....

    We will be making multiple
    We will be making multiple stops, it seems~ busy bus these days! CypressCynthia and I both have apointments tomorrow~I get my first infusion of Zometa and my first Faslodex injection. On Thursday I had HALF A GALLON of swamp-water drained from my lung ( it sure looked like swamp water anyway~ I wish I had thought to check for tadpoles or vegetation as well!) Normal fluid levels are between 2 and 3 TEASPOONS...no wonder I cough so much, huh Kindreds?! The cough has not quite disappeared, but Reggie says it is noticably better~ I guess I was hoping for the proverbial miracle!

    So Kindreds~ those going in for consults, treatment plans, treatment,or "just" for the fun, wine, brownies, jokes and camaraderie of all of us~ I thank you for being such an incredible group ~ no doubt we could do this alone if we had to...but being together just makes the journey so much easier, doesn't it?! I love you, Kindreds!

    Nan I'm not an early bird, but I'll get up at 4 if necessary to cheer you on. Hope your hubby doesn't mind us pinks stealing some of his thunder. I'm bringing fresh brewed maxwell house and my home made Italian biscotti cookies. Hoping CC brings some extra beignets! Sounds like that kick butt chemo is doing the job, I pray it is. Hugs

    I'll be there with a cooler filled with Birthday Cake Ice Cream. Since it's so hot and we have several stops, thought ice cream sounded good - plus, I am now addicted to it, not sure I could go all day without it.

    I'm usually up early so I"m even willing to drive. And I'll bring the shrimp dip and crackers for later in the day. We can't miss anyone's trip!

    Chen, C.C., Nancy and Laurissa .. Our Pink bus
    is gassed up .. Coffee Barista set up in the back, and a portable poker table secure for any Sister in PINK -- interested in a game or two of craps, or twenty-one. I have set up 2 tables for those Sisters interested in a deep tissue massage .. Gwendolyn and Greta can be picked up in a blink of an eye. Rosie and Ellie are ready for those WARRIORS wanting a mani -pedi ..

He wants to check to see how I'm healing up from radiation. I promise not to keep you girls long. Good luck to all my pink sisters getting tests and scans today. Boy this bus is crowded... LOVE IT !!!

    All I want to know is when
    All I want to know is when the pink bus unloads everyone is happy and well and there have been a busload of miracles. I missed the bus, just got out of the hospital myself again, had a heart problem show up. Hope we don't have to keep getting on the pink bus too much and can just keep using the pink dumpster getting rid of all our problems.
