No residual Mullarian adenosarcoma in path report

Had total hysterectomy for Mullarian adenosarcoma on July 12. Path report came back. There was no cancer found anywhere. Doc thinks cancer was contained in the polyp that was removed in my original D & C. He says I don't need to see him for a year. I told him I would feel better seeing him in 6 mos. I am having a hard time realizing that I don't have cancer and am still worried about recurrence. Is this cancer head?

    Great news!
I am so glad everything came back clean.
I know how you feel in a way, because I just finished chemo last week and saw the doctor yesterday, Friday. He said I am fine, that he will order a scan in a year, so I am having a hard time realizing I do not have cancer anymore.

All I can say is keep alert on anything different, unusual such pain or bleeding, and enjoy being cancer free.
I would also insist on seeing my doctor every 6 month, in fact, I made an appointment to see him in 3 months.

I am having some kind of abdominal pain, so the doctor recommended me wait another week and if pain persist he will order a scan.

PS: Did they remove any lymph nodes?

Doc says lymph nodes all looked good, so he didn't remove any. I am rejoicing in my good news, but I don't think I will ever NOT be vigilante!
