Saw my Onc today. Still dancin'
I asked her what my percentage of reoccurance was. Something I had not asked for before but was curious and wanted to know now. 7% to 10%. I will take that. They use some kind of formula that takes in to consideration the stage, size and grade of the the tumor, if there was lymph node involvement and all of the treatments that you have had. I guess in a way I am lucky to be triple positive since they have meds to give you to help lessen a reoccurance. Wierd thought huh, to be lucky and have cancer. Kind of a contradiction if there ever was one.
Hugs to all
Donna
Oh, forgot to mention she was very happy. I had lost 16 pounds.

I too, find myself asking more and more pertinent questions regarding recurrence stats and after care -- I guess after a period of transition, we become focused, stronger and able to deal with additional information.
Congratulations.... Job well done.
